Everything you need to know about our craft, the drop system, and how to secure your piece.

Can I get a piece that you dropped in the past?
If a piece is not currently live on the site, it is locked in the archive. We operate strictly on a drop by drop basis to ensure our focus remains on the current production run. We occasionally pull pieces from the archive for special releases, but it is rare. The best way to secure a piece is to be there when the drop goes live.
When will you bring back a specific design?
If a re release date has not been announced on our Instagram or our email newsletter, there are currently no plans to forge it again. We prefer to keep moving forward with new concepts. You will have to wait until an official announcement is made on our platforms.
Is this official merchandise?
No. Animāto is an independent streetwear label. Our pieces are original, fan made homages to the stories and lore we respect. We are not affiliated with the original creators or studios. We simply treat these concepts with the artistic respect they deserve.
How do the drops actually work?
New drops go live on the website on Sundays at 5:00 PM EST. If it is a Pre Order drop, the window to secure your piece remains open for a limited time which will be specified on the product page. If it is a Limited Drop, the site remains open until the physical inventory is completely sold out.
What is the difference between a Pre Order and a Limited drop?
Pre Order pieces are custom cut and embroidered after you place your order. Because of this, everyone who arrives on time can secure their exact size. However, this process requires a 12 week wait for manufacturing and quality control before the piece ships.

Limited Drops consist of physical inventory that we already have in hand. Once these pieces sell out, they are gone. The advantage is that shipping begins just a few days after the drop closes.
How often do drops happen?
We typically release 1 to 2 drops per month. The timeline depends entirely on the complexity of the embroidery and our fabric sourcing.
What is the best way to keep up with drops?
Join the syndicate. Follow us on Instagram where we post behind the scenes craft, sneak peeks, and exact drop dates. We also highly recommend subscribing to our email newsletter for direct notifications so you never miss a release.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We currently ship to North America, the EU, Australia, and New Zealand. We are continually working to expand our shipping destinations to reach more of the community.
Can you use my art for a design?
We appreciate the gesture, but all design, drafting, and conceptualization is handled exclusively in house. It is the core of our craft. However, we always welcome character and lore suggestions from the community. Seeing what you are passionate about often inspires our next concepts, so feel free to send us a message.
